How does the Personal Shopping Day work?

Phase 1: Style Diagnosis & Gameplan

Every personal shopping day is built around a specific goal.

The first step is to figure out what that is.

Are you having trouble finding clothes that fit your “weird body”, or have you been buying the wrong cuts the entire time?

Do you run hot in the summer, or does your closet lack hot weather options?

We’ll dive a bit deeper into your closet with an audit and discussion on your lifestyle. Whether we’re helping you pick up a few new suits or building out a full wardrobe from the ground up, we always want to ensure our style choices make sense for you.

We’ll discuss solutions and the gameplan for our shopping day together.

We’ll take care of any appropriate appointments we’ll need if we’re working with any specialists (like a tailor) All you have to do is show up.

Phase 2: Shopping Day

Once we’ve signed off on the solution, our team takes care of all the appropriate appointments and gameplan for our focused, 4-hour shopping day.

Some examples of focused client days in the past:

Refreshed a clients wardrobe for with summer appropriate pieces so he’s not drowning in sweat. (Also helped him add more color and pattern!)
Created a capsule wardrobe that lives in a clients luggage so they never have to pack again

What’s the difference between the Personal Shopping Day and Full Wardrobe Design package.

Our Personal Shopping Day package is for clients who don’t need a full wardrobe overhaul. If you’re trying to decide which is the right option for you:

Personal Shopping Day = Enough outfits for a long weekend
Full Wardrobe Design = Enough outfits to last you the season/most of the year

What do people use the Personal Shopping Day for? Can I use the Personal Shopping Day for anything?

Short answer is, yes, if it’s style related.

The most common Personal Shopping Day client is the guy who has a solid wardrobe but wants a refresh or kick in the right direction.

Most common refreshes are seasonal (“I don’t have any clothes for hot weather!” or “I need to wear suits again and the one in my closet is from college.”)

Other clients are looking for guidance on something that’s complicated, like getting their first bespoke suits made. If you’re unsure if we can help, drop us a line and we can give you our intial thoughts.

I don’t live in NYC but open to traveling. Can I apply?

Yes! We regularly work with out of town clients. Just make a note when you apply and we can discuss the logistics.

Can I gift your services to my partner/son/friend?

Yes. We offer gifting for our Personal Shopping Day, Event Styling, and Wedding Styling services.

Because of how far we book in advanced, we do not offer gifting our full wardrobe service.

How much does your services costs?

The Personal Shopping Day service is $3,500

How much should I budget for clothes/the solution?

Unfortunately this is difficult to say, as each Personal Shopping Day is catered to the client’s problem, so it will vary. Please send us a message with a brief description of your situation, and we can provide a rough quote of how much you should budget.
